We’re proud to announce SafeBase was named to Rising in Cyber 2024. Launched by Notable Capital, Rising in Cyber recognizes the most innovative startups in cybersecurity. To develop this list, Notable Capital partnered with 100+ CISOs, VPs of Security, and prominent venture capital firms to nominate and vote on approximately 200 companies in order to select the 30 honorees.
Companies such as Amazon, Atlassian, Coupang, and Netflix partnered with Notable Capital to nominate and vote for honorees who were chosen based on their proven ability to solve critical problems for security teams. Having raised more than $6 billion collectively, the companies recognized by Rising in Cyber demonstrate the enthusiasm of the cybersecurity industry for innovation in this sector.
SafeBase continues the momentum
This recognition comes on the heels of our Series B funding announcement, further accelerating and validating our vision for the revolution of security review processes. We also recently announced a host of product enhancements and integration updates that connect the SafeBase Trust Center Platform with the tools and technologies enterprise companies rely on to bring transparency to their security and trust posture.
In 2023, SafeBase saw exponential revenue growth and now serves over 700 customers with 98% gross retention. The company was also selected as an RSAC Innovation Sandbox finalist, was named to Fortune’s Cyber60, and saw more than two million views of its flagship Trust Center product. In addition, the company launched a host of new products, including its category-leading AI-powered product designed to greatly reduce human time and error on security questionnaires.
As AI continues pushing the cybersecurity industry into uncharted territories, Notable Capital’s Managing Partner, Oren Yunger, notes:
“We see more innovation among cybersecurity startups than ever before, especially as AI creates both opportunities and new risks. Areas such as identity and access management, cloud security, and application security will see increased adoption by CISOs as security teams adapt to the rising role of AI.”
Continued evolution of our product is why customers like OpenAI, Asana, HubSpot, and more choose SafeBase for their security postures. In joining the other honorees on the Rising in Cyber 2024 list, we’re proud of our recognition as one of cybersecurity’s most promising companies.
