Frequently asked questions

Women in Trust is the leadership community dedicated to increasing the representation of women in cybersecurity leadership positions.

As trust becomes more central to business strategies, it’s crucial the cybersecurity space reflects a more heterogeneous point of view. Women currently make up only 24% of the cybersecurity workforce. The underrepresentation of women in cybersecurity is detrimental to the industry’s ability to positively impact organizations and their employees.

The Women in Trust community brings women in cybersecurity together to increase the ratio of women in trust-focused leadership roles. It will provide the space and time for women in cybersecurity, privacy, and GRC to champion one another, grow together, and collectively define the future of the industry.
We believe in person networking is key to help us continue to grow in our careers. Throughout the year, we host intimate gatherings around key industry events like RSAC and Black Hat culminating in our Women in Trust Summit.

Our inaugural Women in Trust Summit had 70+ attendees from all over the US and as far as India and the UK. We are excited to make this year's even bigger — we hope you can join!
The SafeBase team started the Women in Trust community about 2 years ago in order to increase the ratio of women in trust-focused leadership roles. The conference is sponsored by SafeBase, but there is no obligation to be a SafeBase customer to attend. This is our way of giving back to the community.
The event will be held in San Francisco, CA. The exact location will be sent to confirmed attendees when they register for the event. Please submit your interest to attend in the form below.
As long as they are a practitioner, absolutely! We just ask that you have them submit a request to register. We have a strict cap on the number of attendees so once we hit capacity we will need to start a wait list.
